Learning objectives

In this lesson, students will gain a chronological understanding of the key events of World War One during 1917. They will develop an awareness of the places where major battles were fought, including Passchendaele and Bullecourt. Students will have the opportunity to achieve this through choosing their own method of learning, from reading, research and video watching options, as well as the chance to engage in extension activities. This lesson includes a self-marking quiz for students to demonstrate their learning.
