Learning objectives

In this lesson, students will gain an understanding of chronology in history. They will develop an awareness of time measurements and technical terminology associated with its use, including years, decades, centuries, millennia, as well as 'Before Christ', 'Anno Domini', Common Era, and Before Common Era. Students will have the opportunity to achieve this through choosing their own method of learning, from reading, research and watching options, as well as the chance to engage in extension activities. This lesson includes a self-marking quiz for students to demonstrate their learning.
