Battle of Marathon Lesson

In this lesson, students will learn about the strategic tactics and historical significance of the Battle of Marathon, highlighting how the outnumbered Greek forces achieved a remarkable victory over the Persian army. Students will have the opportunity to achieve this through choosing their own method of learning, from reading, research, and video watching options, as well as the chance to engage in extension activities.
