Introduction to Medieval Knights Lesson

In this lesson, will learn how knights developed as mounted warriors in medieval Europe and how their duties connected to the feudal system, warfare, and landholding. They will also examine the training, ceremonies, battlefield roles, and social expectations that defined knighthood during the Middle Ages. Students will have the opportunity to achieve this through choosing their own method of learning, including reading, research, and watching options, as well as the chance to engage in extension activities. This lesson includes a self-marking quiz for students to demonstrate their learning.
