1945: The Allied Victory in Europe Lesson

In this lesson, students will gain an understanding of the events that led to the end of World War Two. They will develop an awareness of the D-Day landings at Normandy, the Battle of the Bulge, and the victory in Europe in 1945. Students will have the opportunity to achieve this through choosing their own method of learning, from reading and research options, as well as the chance to engage in extension activities. This lesson includes a self-marking quiz for students to demonstrate their learning.
