In this lesson, students will examine how disagreements between the major Allied powers produced a final agreement that prioritised punishment over Wilson's vision for lasting peace. They will also explore how the treaty's territorial and military terms affected Germany and how a series of connected peace settlements transformed the map of post-war Europe. Students will have the opportunity to achieve this through choosing their own method of learning, from reading, source analysis, research, and video watching options, as well as the chance to engage in extension activities. This lesson includes a self-marking quiz for students to demonstrate their learning.
