The Major Pacific Sea Battles in WWII Lesson

In this lesson, students will gain an understanding of the battles of the Coral Sea, Midway, and Guadalcanal, during World War Two. They will develop an awareness of why they were significant turning points in the Asia-Pacific theatre of war. Students will have the opportunity to achieve this through choosing their own method of learning, from reading, research, and video watching options, as well as the chance to engage in extension activities. This lesson includes a self-marking quiz for students to demonstrate their learning.
