
In this lesson, students will examine the formative experiences in Adolf Hitler's early life, from his difficult childhood in Austria to his rejection from art school and his service in World War One. They will explore how these events contributed to the political ideology he formed after the war, culminating in his rise to the leadership of the Nazi Party. Students will have the opportunity to achieve this through choosing their own method of learning, from reading, research, and video watching options, as well as the chance to engage in extension activities.
