Red Scare Lesson

In this lesson, students will explore the historical context, key events, and significant figures of the Red Scare, gaining insights into the widespread fear and paranoia surrounding communism in the United States during the Cold War era. They will also examine the impact of this period on American society, politics, and individual lives, understanding the implications of government actions, blacklisting, and the role of entities like the House Un-American Activities Committee and the FBI.
