Learning objectives

In this lesson, students will learn about Hannibal's strategic and tactical brilliance during the early stages of the Second Punic War, focusing on his daring crossing of the Alps and his victories at the Battles of Ticinus and Trebia Rivers.  Students will have the opportunity to achieve this through choosing their own method of learning, from reading, research, and video watching options, as well as the chance to engage in extension activities. This lesson includes a self-marking quiz for students to demonstrate their learning.
