Otzi the Iceman Lesson

In this lesson, students will examine the discovery and scientific analysis of Otzi the Iceman, one of the most well-preserved human bodies ever found, and explore what his body tells us about life and technology during the Copper Age. They will also evaluate the competing theories about his death, weighing the physical evidence to draw their own conclusions about who may have been responsible. Students will have the opportunity to achieve this through choosing their own method of learning, from reading, research, and video options, as well as the chance to engage in extension activities. This lesson includes a self-marking quiz for students to demonstrate their learning.
