Learning objectives

In this lesson, students will learn about the diverse burial practices of ancient civilizations and how these practices reflect their beliefs about the afterlife and social structures. They will also explore the methods used by archaeologists to excavate and analyze burial sites, gaining insights into the challenges and ethical considerations of burial archaeology.
