In this lesson, learn how First Nations Australians developed effective technologies for hunting, daily life, and food production that suited local environments across Australia. Students will also examine how land and water management methods such as fire-stick farming, fish traps, and eel systems supported reliable food supplies and careful resource use over long periods of time. Students will have the opportunity to achieve this through choosing their own method of learning, from reading and research options, as well as the chance to engage in extension activities. This lesson includes a self-marking quiz for students to demonstrate their learning.
