Overview of the American Revolution Lesson

In this lesson, students will gain an understanding of the American Revolutionary War, exploring its causes, key figures, pivotal battles, and the strategic decisions that led to the founding of the United States. They will learn how thirteen disparate colonies united to defeat one of the world's most powerful empires. Students will have the opportunity to achieve this through choosing their own method of learning, from reading and research options, as well as the chance to engage in extension activities. This lesson includes a self-marking quiz for students to demonstrate their learning.
