Clash of Cultures Lesson

In this lesson, students will explore the pivotal events of 1788, when the First Fleet arrived in Australia, leading to the establishment of a British penal colony in Sydney under the leadership of Arthur Phillip. They will delve into the complex interactions between the British settlers, convicts, and Indigenous Peoples, understanding the lasting impact of these early encounters on Australian history and culture.
